Valse de Wasso is a gypsy jazz waltz written by Dutch gypsy musician Wasso Grünholz. He was the uncle of Stochelo Rosenberg and his guitar teacher. He also taught Jimmy Rosenberg, who recorded some of his waltzes, including this one.

The progression:

A

||: Em | % | B7 | % | % | % |

{1. ----------

| Em | B7 :||

{2. ----------

| Em B7 | Em |

B

||: Em | D | C | Em |

||: G | G#dim | C | C#dim |

{1. ----------

| D7 | D7/A | G | D7 :||

{2. ---------

| G A7 A#7 | B7 |

As you can see from the progression, this waltz has 3 parts - A, B and C, repeated 3 times. Each time there is a slight variation of part A.

I have included 3 backing tracks ( 150bpm, 200bpm and 250bpm ) for you to practice over. There are TABS in Guitar Pro and PDF which include the chords of the rhythm guitar, fully transcribed solo with the exact picking pattern for each note and a 150bpm video with scrolling TABS.

Have fun and good luck practicing.

Much love,

Damjan
