Hi guitar addicts. Check out these 4 Rock/Blues licks every guitarist should know. Very easy and effective. Enjoy ;-)
This lick starts with a taste of B Dorian mode, then employs some chromaticisms to liven up some minor pentatonics in the upper register. It concludes with an outside sounding arpeggio sequence that lands on the root note.
This lick is taken from my Outside Lines guitar lesson. The lick is inspired by guitarists such as Nuno Bettencourt and Tony Macalpine.
This lick is based around D Phrygian Dominant scale using a variety of techniques including legato, economy picking and tapping.
This lick is taken from the song called “Ride 'n Run”, from the album “Unconditioned” by Pavic. The full song is also available for free download.
This is a solo I recorded for the song called “Vertigini”, taken from the homonymous album (Warner Music, 2010) by Italian rock band Big Ones.
