A simple but nice composition by J.S. Bach, arranged for tapping.
The Minuet in G major is a keyboard piece from the 1725 ‘Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach’ and as the title says it is written in G major.
It is a piece I’ve found to be suitable for anyone who wishes to put a new technique to a test. Namely, it has simple but memorable melodic lines, one simple phrase repeating itself throughout most of the piece. And in this lesson we are going to use it as an exercise for tapping in sequence and for three (2+1) notes per string scales, which we have somewhat covered in part 2 of this course.
