A walk through the classic Glenn Tilbrook solo from Squeeze's hit - Black Coffee In Bed.
This lesson contains a lot of ideas that you wouldn't normally associate with a pop guitar solo. It borrows heavily from the jazz world: you're playing around changes, using chromatic passing notes and playing through a large cross section of the neck with a lot of position shifts.
There are very few "standard rock 'n' blues" licks, and so will hopefully provide some different ideas for the intermediate player who's looking for something fresh.
I hope you enjoy it, and don't forget to leave feedback, comments and questions if you need to.
Thanks!
