'Skippy' is a short original piece that covers the technique most notably fashioned by Paul Gilbert; string skipping. Highlighting the major, minor and diminished shapes whilst incorporating hybrid picking to provide an easier route to achieving high speed and fluency.

The piece focuses on note inversion and rhythm alterations, introducing the use of added interest to string skipping shapes before divulging into alternate note choice and further development.
