If you are called on to do some session work or accompany someone they might well expect something more than just strumming the chords along, and if it is a pop song with only a few of them in that can get quite boring. In this series of lessons I will show examples of how I would play the song, expanding the chords and introducing other rhythms, whilst still keeping the essence and recognisable components of the song intact.

The track has bass/drums on but the guitar parts are designed to work as stand alone performances with a singer.

Also, I have included some vocals on the backing track! You'll be able to get more of a feel for playing with a singer if you dont have one around to rehearse with. Also, if you want to improvise a bit, this will show where the gaps in the vocal lines are for the placement of fills etc.
