Welcome to this Children of Bodom guitar lesson!
This is the solo for the song Needled 24/7 from the album Hatecrew Deathroll. An amazing track, and the solo is pure flavour.
Basically what Alexi Laiho did in this one was mixing some pentatonic runs with minor licks, his usual arsenal.
I learned a lot from this guitar solo. Timing is essential so make sure you pay attention to that. Technique is advanced in my opinion because you need a fair amount of control in the fast runs, BUT nothing impossible, just a very good challenge.
