Knockin' on Heaven's door solo

by KazV | 01 December 2010

Hello L4G! Thanks for taking the time to look at this lesson. This lesson will be suitable for beginner/intermediate players, but also to more advanced players.

This famous GnR solo consists of lots of bends and a very creative use of the pentatonic boxes. It's a simple straight forward rock solo for beginner guitarists, but a harder solo for more intermediate guitarists who start including some emotion in their playing.

In this lesson you will find multiple zoomed-in videos where I'll demonstrate the licks one by one. I've also included a shot of my right hand for those who are interested. A PDF and GuitarPro5 file contain the tabs and I've added a word document with extra explanations on bending and all the seperate licks.
