G major scale - whole neck

by Crin-Grigore | 11 October 2015

This lesson demonstrates G major scale played in triplets (three notes per string) up and down the entire neck (22frets).

The lesson is meant to improve:

  • The knowledge of the notes on the fret-board;
  • The alternate picking;
  • The coordination between left and right hand;
  • The recognition of the major sound and its modes;
  • The improvising approach.

To understand better this lesson I advise you to download my first lesson published at live4guitar, which is free. You will see the equivalence between the patterns.

Enjoy.
