Welcome to my “Elysium” lesson, a great example of putting harmony and melody together. This is original composition from a great band Stratovarius which is arranged originally by Matias Kupianinen, new guitarist of the band.
I changed the key of the song and rearranged some parts so it’s easier to understand and listen to it, and of course play it comfortably. All you have to do is to follow your guitar pro or PDF file and practice some scales which I explained in a big Word document and you will master this one in no time.
Let’s say that the lesson is divided into two parts, rhythm part and the solo part, and solo part is covered in 6 short videos just so you can easily get the feeling right.
I divided it into two parts mainly because of the changes in the key, you will notice that rhythm part is in the key of A major and the guitar soloing parts in the key of A minor or C major.
All you need to do know is sit down, listen to the piece for a while to get acustommed to its sound, study your scales and practice hard.
I hope you will enjoy learning this lesson as much as i enjoyed recording it for you,
