Welcome to this lesson, where we will learn how to play the fantastic solo that Mark Knopfler played in the song "Sultans of Swing", released in 1978.

Mark Knopfler used his characteristic finger picking technique to play this solo. However, in this lesson we are going to see how to play the solo with a pick, by using techniques such as alternate picking, sweep picking and hybrid picking.

The whole song has been divided into sections, so that you can locate them really easily in the tabs (in PDF and GP5 & 6) Each section is shown at slow speed and in full detail (videos in high definition). The backing tracks (at normal and slow speed) are also included.

You can't miss this lesson, where you will be able to learn to play one of the best solos in the history of rock guitar.
