"Brucia la Terra" (Burn the Earth) is an authentic Sicilian ballad from the town of Corleone. It is a song written for The Godfather (1972), the first film in The Godfather trilogy.

This acoustic arrangement is made in a swing feel with fingerstyle technique. Right hand fingering is included in tabs.

When I made this arrangement I was trying to put the accent on the melody while keeping the harmony in groove. I believe this way it has more interesting sound when played on one instrument, breaking the original melancholic feel.

There are parts where is hard to keep the melody in front at all times especially in the middle part of the song. You can try to rearange some of that yourslef but this way worked for me and I hope you'll enjoy it.
